Summit Learning Journeys

Delegates will have the option to register for pre or post Summit Learning Journeys which will be organised on behalf of host chapter members by the Institute for Family Business.

Each learning journey will take a small group of members who are keen to develop a better understanding of family business and its relationship with their community into the heart of the UK. Journeys will be of short duration, but will include overnight stays in the regions visited.

Key themes are expected to include how family firms are strengthening their communities and are working across a range of issues such as:

- Social responsibility: building social capital engaging with local communities
- Culture: supporting the arts, culture and other aspects of national heritage
- Business: leveraging family business resources to engage owners and employees
