Regina Helena is a shareholder and Board Member of the Votorantim Institute and the Votorantim Group Family Board. Votorantim is a Brazilian family-owned corporation operating in over 20 countries in cement, mining, metallurgy, steelworks, pulp, orange juice concentrate, and own generation of electric power. She is Voluntary Chairwoman of the Disabled Child Support Association (AACD), a national benchmark in the treatment and rehabilitation of the physically disabled. She is also Vice President of Helipark Taxi Aéreo e Manutenção Aeronáutica Ltda., the largest specialized helicopter service center in Latin America.

Votorantim Institute Advisor

Regina Helena participated in the Institute’s conception and in the development of its strategic guidelines, channeling social investments from the Votorantim Group companies in the region of R$ 50 million annually.

Member of the Votorantim Group Social Investment Committee

Responsibilities include budget decision making, analysis and approval of social projects together with the monitoring of indicators and results of projects in the fields of education, labor, culture, sport and rights.

Member of the ReDes Program Committee

Her participation on this committee involved strategic guidance and the follow up on the Program’s results. The Program itself is a result of the partnership between the Votorantim Institute and the National Economic and Social Development Bank (BNDES).

Member of the Votorantim Group Family Board

Regina Helena was involved in the founding of the Family Board, the setting up of its policies, its programs and also its decision-making process. She is also a member of the Family Development Committee and the Communication and Memorial Committee.

Regina Helena actively participated in the conception and founding of the company which is now the largest specialized helicopter service center in Latin America.
